Network Engineer

I’m recruiting for multiple Network Engineer opportunities within a secure, technology-driven environment. These positions are available across a range of experience levels, making them suitable for engineers looking to progress their careers as well as experienced professionals seeking greater technical responsibility., * Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.

• Configure and manage routing, switching and network security technologies.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Support upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security and engineering teams.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring where appropriate.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLANs, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience with technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE or Fortinet.
• Understanding of network security principles and best practice.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

• OSPF, BGP, EIGRP or MPLS.
• Firewall and VPN technologies.
• Wireless networking.
• VMware, Hyper-V, KVM or similar virtualisation platforms.
• AWS, Azure or hybrid cloud networking.
• Ansible, Terraform, Python or other automation tools.
• Network monitoring and management platforms.
• Software Defined Networking (SDN).
