Job description

A fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company is building an AI-native platform that helps revenue teams turn in-person interactions (events, conferences, meetings) into measurable pipeline and revenue.

They are defining a new category at the intersection of GTM, data, and AI - enabling companies to capture, enrich, and sync real-world engagement directly into their systems in real time.

The Role

You’ll join a small, high-impact backend team responsible for building and scaling the core platform. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems that power real-time data processing and integrations.

You’ll operate with a high degree of ownership - translating product requirements into technical solutions and shipping quickly in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs
  • Design scalable, reliable systems in a cloud environment
  • Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve system reliability
  • Collaborate on architecture and infrastructure decisions
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship features

  • 4-8 years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL
  • Experience with AWS or GCP
  • Proven ability to build scalable production systems
  • Ability to independently translate product requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills (clear, non-jargon explanations)
  • Must be U.S.-based with work authorization, * Experience at growth-stage startups or well-known tech companies
  • Background in CRM, MarTech, or GTM SaaS (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Experience working on data-heavy or real-time systems

Benefits & conditions

  • Operates independently with minimal hand-holding
  • Writes clean, production-quality backend code
  • Contributes to system design and scalability decisions
  • Moves quickly while maintaining high quality

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary + equity
  • Fully remote (U.S.)
  • Full benefits + insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Monthly wellness stipend

Why This Role

  • Small, high-performing backend team (~4 engineers)
  • Direct impact on core product and roadmap
  • Urgent, high-priority hire with fast interview process
  • Opportunity to join a company scaling quickly in a new category
