Job description

We are seeking an experienced Application Consultant TIBCO EAI with strong expertise in TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x (BW6), BusinessWorks Container Edition (BWCE), and enterprise integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using the TIBCO suite along with modern containerization and orchestration platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x (BW6) and BW Container Edition (BWCE).
  • Build, enhance, and support integration services using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JMS, XML, and JSON.
  • Develop reusable integration components and APIs following enterprise integration best practices.
  • Configure and manage TIBCO EMS, TIBCO HAWK, and TIBCO Enterprise Administrator (TEA).
  • Deploy and manage BWCE applications using Docker containers and Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment activities, and production support.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in TIBCO integration development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x (BW6).
  • Experience working with TIBCO BusinessWorks Container Edition (BWCE).
  • Hands-on experience with TIBCO EMS.
  • Experience configuring and monitoring applications using TIBCO HAWK.
  • Experience with TIBCO Enterprise Administrator (TEA).
  • Strong knowledge of BW Studio.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
  • Experience with SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, JSON, and JMS.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Cloud & DevOps Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Docker.
  • Experience deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience migrating applications from TIBCO BW5.x to BW6/BWCE.
  • Knowledge of API-led integration architecture.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant TIBCO certifications are preferred.
