Snowflake Git Software Version Control Data Pipelines

Job description

  • Lead the design and development of ELT pipelines.
  • Mentor offshore team members to drive delivery.
  • Conduct technical design reviews.
  • Ensure data quality through automated testing.
  • Optimize performance and cost in Snowflake.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake-based cloud data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in advanced SQL, dimensional modeling (Kimball/Data Vault), incremental and snapshot strategies, performance tuning, and cost optimization in Snowflake.
  • Experience designing scalable, production-grade ELT pipelines.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD for dbt.
  • Experience integrating orchestration tools.
  • Experience enforcing data quality through automated testing and observability frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and security in Snowflake.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and DevOps-driven deployment practices.
  • Experience leading technical design reviews and mentoring data engineering teams., * Experience with Dbt.
