Job description

In our one-day Data Solution Design - Workshop, we offer you a practical introduction to the world of data engineering and analytics. We’ll introduce you to our modern tool stack, Google BigQuery, dbt, and Looker Studio, and give you a comprehensive introduction to Data Vault 2.0.

With these new skills, you’ll be able to build a modern Data Platform by analyzing the PokeAPI dataset to find out which are the strongest Pokémon, discover the best type combinations, and uncover hidden stats. You will model this information according to the Data Vault Methodology and implement it in a data warehouse. Last but not least, you will learn how to dashboard your results and present your findings to assemble the ultimate Pokémon team.

The dataset leverages the extensive PokeAPI, containing comprehensive data on hundreds of Pokémon, including their base stats, abilities, moves, and types.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Ongoing studies in business informatics, mathematics, computer science or a comparable course of study

Interest in big data topics
Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
Knowledge of dashboarding is an advantage
