IT Product Owner (Investment Management Data Platforms)|| Hybrid in Sandy Springs, GA or NYC, NY

Seeking an experienced IT Product Owner with deep expertise in Product Master and Portfolio Master data platforms within the investment management industry. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise master data capabilities that support accurate, governed, and scalable investment data across the front-to-back office lifecycle. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, data governance teams, and engineering, driving delivery of high-quality data products that support portfolio management, reporting, and downstream investment systems., Own and prioritize the product backlog for Product Master and Portfolio Master initiatives within an Agile/Scrum environment Lead design and enhancement of enterprise master data platforms supporting portfolios, products, strategies, and related investment structures Translate complex business and data requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery specifications Define and maintain data models, including portfolio hierarchies, sleeves, products, accounts, and strategy structures Partner with data engineering and architecture teams on database design, integration patterns, and scalable data architecture Establish and enforce data governance, data ownership, and data quality standards across master data domains Ensure seamless integration with downstream systems including performance, reporting, IBOR, and external vendor platforms Support onboarding and lifecycle management processes for portfolios and investment products Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and reconciliation across multiple systems and data sources

10+ years of experience in technology, business analysis, or product ownership within Investment Management 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment Strong hands-on experience with Product Master and/or Portfolio Master data platforms Deep understanding of investment data structures, including portfolios, sleeves, accounts, and product hierarchies Strong knowledge of the end-to-end investment data lifecycle (front-to-back office flows) Experience with IBOR, Security Master, performance, and attribution data domains Strong SQL and relational data modeling skills Experience working with external investment data vendors such as FactSet, Bloomberg, Aladdin, State Street, MSCI, or similar platforms Preferred Qualifications Experience leading or contributing to large-scale master data platform implementations or migrations Background in data pipeline design, ingestion frameworks, and transformation processes Exposure to data governance, data stewardship, and enterprise data quality frameworks Nice to Have Experience with AI- or automation-enabled data workflows Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
