Job description

To strengthen our Information Security team in Vienna, we are looking for a dedicated and reliable Student Support for 20h / week.

Your Role

  • You support our CISO and GRC team in the implementation and continuous improvement of NIS-2 and ISO 27001 requirements
  • You assist with gap analyses and maturity assessments against ISO 27001, NIS-2, and related cybersecurity frameworks
  • You help establish, document, and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • You support the maintenance of ISO 27001 documentation, including policies, procedures, risk registers, Statements of Applicability (SoA), and evidence records
  • You assist in coordinating management reviews, KPI tracking, and compliance reporting
  • You support NIS-2 implementation activities, including mapping technical and organizational measures to ISO 27001 controls
  • You assist in developing and rolling out security awareness and compliance training, including ISO 27001 and NIS-2 obligations
  • You help with meeting preparation, documentation, presentations, and status reporting for management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • You are currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, business informatics, software engineering, or a comparable course of study
  • You already gained first work/internship experience in a cybersecurity and/or IT role
  • You have a strong interest in information security standards and regulations, especially ISO 27001 and NIS-2
  • A basic knowledge of security tools and platforms (e.g. firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability scanners) is a plus
  • You are a detail-oriented and analytical person, with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent communication in English (C-Level) is a matter of course for you, and German skills are an advantage

Benefits & conditions

The salary for this position is € 2,350 gross per month on a full-time basis in the Bachelor studies / € 2,550 in the Master studies.
