Job description

Within this team you will work on projects developing new mission planning solutions for state-of-the-art studios as well as GMV’s suite of software products.

  • Initial duties will include software design and development (in Java and other technologies), researching software and integration issues, and supporting client meetings. You will also support activities to improve data visualization and GUI enhancements.
  • Your main duties would be to support software development, validation and verification in the scope of typical software lifecycle projects and for maintenance projects in the Mission Planning division. Specification and design based on user requirements is also part of the activity.

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for software engineers with experience in cloud technologies who are interested in working in the space sector. Knowledge in:

  • Java programming
  • C++ Programming
  • Development of REST interfaces and service-oriented architectures
  • Spring Boot/Tomcat
  • SVN/Git
  • Databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL), Java JPA, Hibernate, etc….

We will also value knowledge in Cloud Technologies, including the different platforms and cloud service providers, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
