Job description

For Nutricia Research, we are looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join the Research & Innovation (R&I) organization. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of data, business, and IT, contributing to the development, testing, and implementation of data-driven solutions. You will be responsible for preparing, transforming, and validating data while supporting the deliveryofanalytics solutions that create business value. Working closely with R&I and IT stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations., * Develop and maintain Python scripts for data transformation and data preparation.

  • Pilot data processing solutions and support their handover to IT for industrialization.
  • Support, adapt, and optimize existing applications.
  • Coordinate data mapping activities with business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into clear inputs for analytics and dashboard development.
  • Validate data and analytics solutions from a business perspective.
  • Monitor project deliverables, timelines, and overall progress.
  • Collaborate with end-users to test, validate, and refine solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across datasets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical, scientific, or business-related field.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Pandas
  • NumPy
  • SciPy
  • Streamlit
  • Proven experience in data transformation, data preparation, and data mapping.
  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts, including mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation.
  • Familiarity with GitHub or other version control systems.
  • Experience gathering and structuring business requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working with both business and IT teams.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the food, FMCG, chemical, or R&D industries.
  • Previous involvement in business-facing analytics projects.
  • Knowledge of dashboarding and reporting processes.
