Job description

  • Provide functional and technical support for applications used by the Equity Derivatives business
  • Monitor and maintain the health of critical systems, performing regular checks and proactive issue identification
  • Manage and respond to production incidents, including escalation, root cause analysis, and resolution
  • Handle change requests from development and infrastructure teams, including system and configuration updates
  • Configure and maintain monitoring tools, and respond to system alerts in a timely manner
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation covering operational procedures and system configurations
  • Support Business Continuity Planning activities, including participation in drills and testing
  • Assist with IT security processes and audit requirements
  • Contribute to or lead projects relating to:
  • New system implementations
  • Application upgrades
  • Server deployments and environment improvements

Requirements

Our client is looking for smart, proactive individuals who can demonstrate strong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset. This is a hands on application support role within the Equity Derivatives business, offering exposure to trading systems and critical institutional workflows., * Strong Linux knowledge and command-line experience

  • Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with a structured approach
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, production support environment
  • Knowledge of equity derivatives
