We are looking to connect talented Java specialists with cutting-edge projects across the UK, from Manchester and Birmingham to Leeds and beyond, where you could contribute to building scalable, modern solutions that make a real impact.What you would doTypical responsibilities could include:

  • Developing and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot and Spring frameworks
  • Building and integrating microservices architectures with a focus on scalability and performance
  • Working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP to deploy and manage applications
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes
  • Collaborating with teams to design and implement RESTful APIs
  • Writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to code reviews
  • Working with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Supporting the development of distributed systems and data pipelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Strong experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Framework)
  • Working knowledge of microservices architecture and API development
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation practices
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with version control and collaborative development practices
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have experience could include:

  • Oracle Certified Associate or Oracle Certified Professional Java SE certification
  • Spring Professional certification (VMware)
  • Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Knowledge of Linux and bash scripting
  • Exposure to data quality, ETL pipelines or Power BI
  • Experience with SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE)
