Platform Engineer

• Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Containerising applications using Docker and orchestrating them with Kubernetes
• Developing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform
• Supporting microservices architectures and distributed systems design
• Collaborating with development teams to optimise deployment processes
• Troubleshooting platform issues and improving system reliability
• Contributing to platform standards and best practices

What you could bringMost roles of this type require the following:Must-have

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Strong understanding of containerisation (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, Java or .NET)
• Solid knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

• Experience with SAP environments (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP RISE)
• Data pipeline and data quality experience
• Kubernetes certification or advanced cloud platform certifications
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML or architectural design patterns
