Job description

Scope: Oversee and maintain the church Planning Center Online (PCO) database and related systems, ensuring data integrity, staff training, system optimization, and support of ministry initiatives., * Oversee the administration and maintenance of the church’s Planning Center Online (PCO) database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and adherence to established standards.

  • Perform and coordinate database functions, including data management, reporting, troubleshooting, and ongoing system support.
  • Plan, implement, and manage database upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
  • Support ministry objectives by providing database solutions, analysis, and administrative support as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage the use of supplemental information systems to enhance ministry operations and reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce database policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Train staff on effective database usage through individual coaching, group training sessions, and ongoing support.
  • Monitor data quality and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with ministry leaders and departments to identify data needs and improve processes.
  • Provide support for special projects and other administrative initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

As a religious organization, all employees must agree to conduct themselves in a way that does not undermine or contradict the contents of the church’s Doctrinal Statement and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for employment with Northwest Bible Church. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord.
  • Northwest Bible Church membership preferred but not required.
  • Capable of handling high volumes of information while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exercises discretion and professionalism in managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Possesses strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications, with the ability to quickly learn new software and database systems.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience and proficiency with Planning Center Online (PCO) required.
  • Previous database administration, data management, or database coordination experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
