Excel Expert

The Excel Expert will play an important role in supporting our operations, sales, and purchasing teams by managing and analyzing large datasets related to inventory, pricing, and customer activity. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of building powerful Excel tools that improve business performance., * Design and maintain advanced Excel models for pricing, inventory tracking, forecasting, and sales analysis

• Analyze large datasets (including thousands of SKUs) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as margins, inventory levels, and order volume
• Automate manual processes using macros, VBA, and advanced formulas
• Clean, validate, and organize data from ERP systems, vendor files, and internal sources
• Support purchasing teams with inventory planning and demand forecasting
• Assist sales teams with pricing analysis, quoting tools, and customer insights
• Develop standardized templates and reporting tools to improve consistency and efficiency
• Collaborate with leadership to support data-driven decision-making

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong experience with:
• Complex formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, nested formulas, array functions)
• Pivot tables, charts, and dashboard creation
• Macros and VBA for automation
• Experience working with large datasets with high accuracy
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to communicate complex data in a clear, practical way, * Experience in electrical distribution, wholesale, or supply chain industries
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Eclipse, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
• Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or SQL
• Understanding of electrical product categories (wire & cable, lighting, switchgear, etc.), * Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
