Job description

Our banking client is seeking a Product Manager, Payroll Partnerships to support the growth and execution of strategic payroll partnership initiatives across North America. This role is responsible for driving product strategies that strengthen referral partnerships, collaborating with internal business teams and external partners to execute sales and growth initiatives, and delivering measurable business results.

Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, learning, and product teams, the Product Manager will help develop and execute go-to-market strategies, optimize partner performance, and identify opportunities to enhance the customer and partner experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships, driving execution, and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders. Pay: $50-$60 / hour RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the execution of product strategies designed to grow payroll partnership relationships and achieve business objectives. Collaborate with internal sales teams, marketing, learning, and other cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate product launches, sales initiatives, training programs, incentives, lead generation activities, and marketing campaigns.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external payroll partners, serving as a primary point of contact to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and support the ongoing success of strategic partnerships. Build trusted relationships across business units to facilitate collaboration, remove barriers, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Monitor partnership performance through reporting, scorecards, analytics, and key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations that support data-driven decision making. Prepare presentations and communicate strategy updates, performance results, and business recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Support the continuous improvement of partnership programs by identifying process enhancements, managing escalations, and contributing to the development and execution of new growth initiatives.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in product management, partnership management, sales enablement, marketing, or a related business function, preferably within banking, financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated industry. Proven ability to execute product or partnership strategies while collaborating across cross-functional teams and external organizations.

Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence partners, sales teams, and senior business leaders to achieve shared objectives. Experience coordinating initiatives across multiple departments and managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Strong analytical skills with experience collecting, interpreting, and presenting data to support business decisions. Comfortable working with scorecards, performance metrics, reporting, and business insights to evaluate partnership effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, along with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. A collaborative mindset, proactive approach, and demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from strategy through execution are essential for success in this role. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
