Job description
Insight global is looking for a senior developer to join our client’s data team. This person will be managing and harnessing the power of their project execution data. The first project will focus on the company’s archives for metadata creation and management. You will develop an AI-powered capability to enable search, discovery and classification of the archival content. Day to day you will oversee metadata management, design, build and maintain data pipelines, build and maintain Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and construct and evaluate generative AI agents. This person should have experience in data engineering, AI/ML Development, and metadata management. This is a contract role on site in Kansas City, MO.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, business or a related field
3-5 years of experience in development & data preservation
Proficient in python
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines with SQL and Python
Understanding of machine-readable metadata standards and taxonomies
API development experience w/ tools like Postman
Experience building, evaluating and maintaining AI/ML models and agents
Experience developing embeddings or vector stores on unstructured content Experience working in an architecture engineering or construction (AEC) industry
Azure or GCP experience
Experience with AEC industry SaaS platforms like Hexagon, Bentley and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
