Job description

The Technical Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the onboarding, configuration, support, and success of onsite technical systems within Cardinal communities. The manager will lead a team that ensures the seamless operation of these systems, facilitates technical support, implements standards, and improves the efficiency, productivity, and security of our communities., * Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the standard on-site technical infrastructure, including phone systems, access control, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and future on-site technical needs.

  • Minimize disruptions by providing technical support and troubleshooting onsite system and centralized services issues.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures related to on-site technical systems
  • Maintain accurate records of system configurations, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Implement consistent testing, verification, and quality assurance procedures to proactively find and resolve potential problems.
  • Employ AI to boost efficiency, automate workflows, and optimize operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and security protocols in all installations and operations.
  • Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Participate in training sessions as required to stay up to date on new technologies and best practices.
  • Partner with our facilities teams to understand on-site needs and build solutions to support their plans.
  • Assist with other projects and assignments as directed by the team leader., While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to use hands to finger, type, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. The Team Member is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or squat. The Team Member is often required to sit. The Team Member must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver office products and supplies of up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Regular local travel may be required to assist properties as needed, attend training classes, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in an operations role supporting onsite systems or related technologies, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Utilize AI tools to increase both individual and team efficiency.
  • Proficiency in technical infrastructures encompassing VOIP, Wi-Fi, networking, and access control.
  • Experience in quality assurance and testing methodologies. Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute system validation initiatives across a portfolio.
  • Proven ability to work independently, lead, mentor, and develop teammates.
  • Excellent problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.
