Job description

Seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst with 4 years of experience years of experience in cyber security analysis in support of Cyber metrics analysis, incident response and mitigation; risk mitigation analysis, developing contingency plans., + Maintaining all day-to-day Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management (VRAM) activities., This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. Requirements

  • Experience with Cyber applications, [e.g., ACAS, HBSS, MDE, MDI, Splunk]

  • Expert and Mastery levels with institutional knowledge and a minimum of 4 years’ experience, on the mission critical procedures, systems, and processes, as they pertain to Information Technology and Cyber Security requirements.

  • Expert knowledge of and experience with CS requirements as defined by Public Laws, National, DoD, and DON guidance [e.g., Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), DoDD 8100.02, DODI 8500.01, DoDI 8520, DoDI, + Must have a minimum of 4 years’ related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering) or Level II Certification (Security+ or better) AND four (4) years of relevant experience as described above.

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, and CompTIA Security+ are desired.

  • SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret

Skill & Certification Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the required level.

  • CS / INFOSEC concepts and requirements.

  • System / network vulnerability analysis.

  • Risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis.

  • Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E).

  • Contingency planning.

  • Firewall Policy.

  • Ports & Protocols.

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), and other standard (Customer specified) applications.

  • Position requires sitting, for long periods of time. (Sedentary Work)

  • Most duties require extended use of a keyboard and computer monitor

  • May require lifting of 20-50 lbs
