Job description

Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale network planning and build initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic growth plans.
Develop and execute network planning roadmaps supporting 5G expansion, fiber densification, rural coverage, capacity upgrades, and network modernization.
Oversee end-to-end delivery across the network deployment lifecycle, including planning, engineering, site acquisition, construction, integration, and production readiness.
Collaborate with RAN, Core, Transport, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Regulatory, and Vendor teams to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.
Define, monitor, and report program KPIs, executive dashboards, portfolio health, deployment milestones, and governance metrics to senior leadership.
Drive network investment planning, capacity forecasting, coverage optimization, and cost-efficient deployment strategies using data-driven insights.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA is preferred, with an overall experience of 13 18+ years in the telecommunications industry.
10 15+ years of hands-on experience in network planning, network architecture, deployment, and large-scale network build programs, with expertise in 5G, RAN, Transport, and Core Networks.
Proven experience leading end-to-end network planning and deployment initiatives, including capacity planning, coverage optimization, fiber expansion, site acquisition, construction, and network rollout.
Strong understanding of telecom network architecture, including Radio Access Network (RAN), Core Network, Transport, Backhaul, Fiber, and IP/MPLS technologies.
Experience managing large cross-functional programs involving Network Engineering, Operations, Site Acquisition, Construction, Vendors, OEMs, and Managed Service Providers.
Hands-on experience defining and tracking KPIs, executive dashboards, governance frameworks, RAG reporting, risk management, and portfolio management.
Experience driving network transformation initiatives, including 5G expansion, fiber densification, automation, AI/ML-enabled planning, and digital transformation.
Strong knowledge of telecom deployment lifecycle, regulatory compliance, permitting, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor governance.
Experience working with leading telecom OEMs such as Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Cisco, or similar vendors is highly preferred.
Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, leadership, presentation, and client-facing consulting skills.
