Job description

  • Define requirements and identify technologies for scaling our transport network in a cost-efficient and operationally streamlined manner.
  • Engage with external vendors and internal teams to operationalize stable, scalable platforms.
  • Develop and execute test plans for optical systems.
  • Automate test infrastructure to qualify and introduce new products into our production network.
  • Develop tools and processes for automation of network management and operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with one or more optical technologies such as optical transceivers, optical metro, or long-haul Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python., * Experience with network equipment manufacturer or network operator in engineering or design role.
  • Experience with planning and designing networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).

US: $104000 - $149000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
