Front-End Developer - UX/UI Design in Barbados, WI

We are seeking a Front-End Developer to support the design and development of secure, modern internal web applications that facilitate the digital request, review, approval and management of clearance certificates, self-employment registrations and single registration records., The consultant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary delivery team to design and implement intuitive, accessible and efficient user interfaces that improve internal operational workflows and enhance service delivery. The Front-End Developer will design and develop secure, responsive, and accessible web-based user interfaces to support the digital transformation of internal business processes. The role involves developing workflow-driven applications, integrating front-end components with backend systems, supporting testing and deployment, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards., * Design and develop responsive and accessible web interfaces.

• Translate business requirements into front-end solutions.
• Develop reusable UI components and standardised layouts.
• Integrate front-end components with backend systems, APIs, and databases.
• Perform testing, debugging, and user acceptance support.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and development standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams and project stakeholders.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in UX/UI design.
• Experience delivering user-centred digital services.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Understanding of web security principles and secure data handling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills., * Bachelor’s (Required), * UX/UI design: 1 year (Required)
