Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure .NET applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement robust solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices and architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and performance improvements.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
  • Stay up to date with the latest .NET, cloud, and software development trends and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Apply software engineering principles and best practices to ensure high-quality software development.

Requirements

Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in applied computer science, engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in software development or a related occupation.

Position requires 4 years of experience in the following:

  • Software development lifecycle with a focus on .NET technologies (VB.Net, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, etc.)
  • Building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • SQL Server or other relational databases such as performance tuning and query optimization
  • Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and cloud-native development.
  • Unit testing and integration testing.
  • CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Analyzing complex technical solutions
