Job description
Our Power Platform Developers design and implement low-code solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform-Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint. Working as part of a collaborative team, they translate client requirements into scalable applications and automated workflows that support process optimization, data integration, and enterprise-wide digital transformation. Specific responsibilities include:
- Analyze client and end-user needs and technical requirements to design technical SharePoint solutions
- Design scalable solutions that integrate directly into the client’s existing suite of systems
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SharePoint projects with accountability for project outcomes; design and create SharePoint sites, pages, and libraries for internal and external stakeholders, and provide technical troubleshooting and end-user support as needed
- Serve as a SME on Power Platform -including Power Apps and Power Automate-by designing and creating applications, workflows, and dashboards that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
- Develop testing plans for application development, user guides, and technical guides
- Engage directly with clients to assist them in technical implementation planning and execution
- Use strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to mitigate internal and external client challenges
- Provide support and guidance to users on Power Platforms and SharePoint features and functionalities
- Provide quality assurance reviews of engagement processes and deliverables
- Develop and tailor comprehensive communication plans for Office 365 and SharePoint initiatives to convey technical concepts to non-IT stakeholders
- Determine the future state for promoting knowledge sharing through the organization’s operational business processes and systems
- Propose options to coordinate planning and managing solutions; convert or rebuild existing forms, tools, and workflows to function in the new environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must currently hold an active DoW Secret (or higher)
- Three (3) plus years of SharePoint (2019, SE, and SPO) experience, including architecture, development, design, and migration
- Two (2) plus years of Power Platform experience, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, program management, communications, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Office 365/SharePoint configuration including mailbox migration, creating workflows, scripts, and developing reports/dashboards
- Experience working on federal IT systems such as Office 365 and SharePoint
- Experience in creating strategies for developing systems and processes
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work up at client sites in the Washington metropolitan area; occasional travel outside of the Washington, D.C. area, * Holds an active DoW Top Secret Clearance with SCI
- Three (3) years of experience in Department of War (DoW) projects/programs
- Experience in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python)
- SCRUM Master certification or demonstrated experience applying Agile methodologies in project delivery environments

Salary Range:
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Your salary may vary within this range depending on a wide range of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
