Job description

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring and ad hoc reports that support business operations and performance monitoring.
  • Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity for reporting and decision-making.
  • Design and maintain SQL queries and database solutions to automate reporting and data extraction.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business needs, and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate meetings, communicate project progress, and present analytical findings to business partners.
  • Train end users on reporting tools and support continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with relational databases and developing data queries.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting or analytical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a business or technical environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Data Analyst III:

  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power Automate, Python, GitHub, Microsoft Access, or SAS.
  • Knowledge of DB2, Visual Basic, or Excel macro development.
  • Experience with business process mapping and workflow improvement.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data or other regulated business environments.
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
