Expert Consultant Cybersecurity

Were looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional who combines strong consulting capabilities with a passion for helping organizations tackle complex security challenges. Youll work closely with executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams to shape cybersecurity strategies, support business development, and deliver high-impact consulting engagements.

Your role: Trusted Advisory & Client Engagement

• Advise clients on cybersecurity, risk, compliance, governance, resilience, and third-party risk management.
• Engage with C-level stakeholders and business leaders to address complex cybersecurity challenges.
• Translate security risks and regulatory requirements into practical business recommendations.
• Support clients in defining cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives.

Business Development & Market Growth

• Support business development activities across the Benelux and France markets.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, client presentations, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and develop new engagements.
• Represent NTT DATA at industry events, workshops, and client meetings.
• Contribute to thought leadership and market visibility.

Delivery & Consulting

• Lead and deliver cybersecurity consulting engagements across governance, risk, compliance, audit, and security transformation domains.
• Conduct cybersecurity maturity assessments, regulatory readiness reviews, and risk assessments covering frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, and IEC 62443.
• Deliver IT and OT security assessments, governance reviews, and third-party risk management engagements.
• Develop executive-level reports, recommendations, and roadmaps that help clients strengthen their cybersecurity posture.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders and support implementation of improvement initiatives.

Practice Development

• Help build and grow the cybersecurity consulting practice in the region.
• Contribute to methodologies, offerings, and reusable assets.
• Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with experts across Europe and globally.

• 3-7 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, IT audit, or technology risk
• Background in a consulting, professional services, Big Four, or similar advisory environment
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging senior leaders
• Experience delivering cybersecurity assessments, audits, compliance reviews, or advisory engagements
• Knowledge of frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, NIST, or CIS Controls
• Interest in both IT and OT security, governance, risk, and compliance
• Professional proficiency in English plus Dutch and/or French
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping build and grow a business
• Nice to have: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer; OT/ICS experience; regulated industry background; existing network in the Belgian or Dutch market
