Job description
We’re searching for a Germany-based Implementation Consultant (m/w/d) to join our Professional Services team, so that we can deliver successful Optima and Workforce Management SaaS implementations across the German healthcare market. The Implementation Consultant will take ownership of defined work packages, working directly with customers to understand requirements, configure the solution, guide testing and support a successful go live, ensuring high-quality customer outcomes at every stage.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Owning defined implementation work packages to deliver quality outcomes and customer satisfaction within your scope, analyzing customer requirements and translating them into practical configuration and solution design.
- Leading customer workshops and working sessions for defined functional areas in order to drive clarity, alignment and structured follow-up throughout the project life cycle.
- Configuring solution components such as organizational structures, parameters, rules, workflows and basic rostering or scheduling logic to align with agreed scope and standards, and guiding customers through testing and UAT for a smooth go live.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation for requirements, design decisions, configuration, testing and go live readiness in order to ensure transparency and continuity across the delivery team.
- Coordinating with Technical Services on interfaces, technical prerequisites and non-standard requirements, identifying risks and dependencies early, and using AI-assisted tools responsibly to streamline configuration, testing and documentation.
Requirements
- Fluency in German and English at native or near-native level
- Several years of experience in implementation consulting, functional consulting, business analysis, SaaS delivery or a comparable operational role in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Proven success in delivering software implementation projects and applying knowledge of hospital staffing processes, workforce management, duty planning and/or time and attendance processes.
- In-depth knowledge of German healthcare labor and tariff structures, including collective agreements and works council agreements; experience with TVoD, TVL or local hospital agreements is a strong advantage.
- Ability to travel to key customer workshops, training sessions and go live activities when required, with German at native or near-native level and good English communication skills.
- Sincere interest in workforce management, hospital operations, and using AI-assisted and automation tools responsibly to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
- A knack for working collaboratively and independently within a structured, solution-oriented delivery environment, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
By enabling flexibility in how we work and prioritizing employee well-being, we empower our team to do and be their best.
