Robotics Integration Engineer

With a strong order book and an increasing number of international projects, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Robotics Integration Engineer to play a key role in delivering innovative automation systems from concept through to commissioning.

Robotics Integration Engineer - The Role:

Working alongside controls, mechanical and project engineers, you’ll be responsible for integrating robotic solutions into complete automated production systems.

The position combines office-based engineering with regular customer site work throughout the UK, Europe and North America.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Programming and integrating industrial robotic systems
• Developing complete robotic automation solutions
• Supporting system design from concept through to commissioning
• Installing, commissioning and optimising systems on customer sites
• Fault finding and supporting existing installations
• Managing technical aspects of projects
• Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues on robotics technologies

We’re keen to speak with Robotics Engineers, Automation Engineers or Controls Engineers who can demonstrate:

• Proven industrial robotics programming and integration experience
• Experience with one or more leading robot manufacturers including Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki or Nachi
• Experience within manufacturing or industrial automation environments
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and industrial networking
• Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

Experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems or project delivery highly advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants should be willing to travel regularly, hold a full UK driving licence and be eligible to travel internationally.
