Job description

Responsible for supporting business analysis and data management activities to assist with project delivery. The role focuses on understanding business needs, documenting processes and requirements, ensuring data quality, and driving project tasks to completion with high standards of accuracy and efficiency., * Define, document, and analyze business processes and objectives with a focus on data quality and process improvement

  • Manage small to medium-sized projects across all phases under managerial direction
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and quality standards
  • Track project activities, cost, time, and resource utilization, and report deviations from agreed tolerances
  • Analyze operational requirements and identify business problems and improvement opportunities
  • Recommend effective business solutions through improvements to automated and non-automated processes
  • Evaluate change impacts and contribute to defining requirements for business process improvements
  • Support testing of new or updated systems and processes
  • Create and maintain user guides and training materials for business systems
  • Provide user support and assist with training sessions when needed
  • Gather, analyze, and document data using standard tools and methodologies
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project outputs
  • Prepare and present findings, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and best practices in business and data analysis

Requirements

  • Business and systems analysis experience with strong data entry and data quality focus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with system implementation or process improvement projects
  • Strong project organization and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail-oriented with strong quality standards
  • Ability to meet deadlines in an office-based environment

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field

OR

  • Equivalent combination of post-secondary education and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, data entry, training, or project management

Benefits & conditions

$26.00 - $54.96 an hour - Contract
