Data Center Technician (IT)

We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our rapidly expanding team. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels for data center operations. This position involves in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair as well as participating in an on-call rotation. Key job responsibilities These activities include the following:

• Lifting and moving material up to 40 pounds each
• Working in cramped and/or elevated locations
• Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
• Standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day
• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation
• Work in an industrial environment
• Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (covering both night and day shifts).

You will be required to work shifts that include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Associate’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent professional or military experience
• 2+ years of experience with server hardware
• 1+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems, * A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• 2+ year of experience working in a Data Center environment
• Understanding of storage devices
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
