SDM - Solution Engineer/Deployment Engineer

· Lead end-to-end deployment, integration, and upgrade of SDM network element across 2G,4G and 5G environments.

· Design and implement SDM solutions based on customer requirements, adhering to High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Level Design (DLD).

· Deploy SDM on VNF, and CNF architectures within Telco Cloud environments.

· Install, configure, integrate, testing (ATP/UAT) and Upgrade of SDM (SDL/PGW/SDLA,AUSF UDM) .

· Support deployment and operations of cloud-native SDM solutions using platforms like OpenStack, VMware, Docker, and OpenShift.

· Perform system validation, interoperability testing, and ensure seamless integration with multi-vendor environments.

· Analyze and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Wireshark, logs, and protocol-level debugging techniques.

· Provide deep technical support for SDM call flows, including2G,4G, 5G,VoLTE, VoWiFi, and related services.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (onsite and offshore) to ensure timely delivery of deployment milestones.

· Execute software upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal service disruption.

· Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for high availability and scalability.

· Document deployment procedures, configurations, and operational guidelines.

· Work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and successful project delivery.

Job Details :- We are primarily looking for a resource with prior knowledge in deploying SDM (Subscriber Data Management) Nodes on Telco Clouds.

Exp Range :- 5 ~ 10 Yrs

5+ years with minimum 2+ years in SDL(Shared Data Layer) Solution Implementation/Upgrades

Skills :-

· Candidate should have end to end understanding of the SDM architectures and interworking

· Should have deep knowledge of 4G and 5G call flows, and overall understanding of latest technologies in the Telecom space including VOLTE, VoWiFi, loT etc.

· Should understand the Cloud environment and understanding of how SDM solution/Nodes can be deployed over cloud.

· Candidate should have prior experience in deploying SDM (SDL/PGW/SDLA/AUSF UDM) as BareMetal/VNF’s/CNF’s.

· Should have expertise in installing, upgrading, integration different SDM nodes.

· Sound understanding of troubleshooting tools like Wireshark etc.

· Should be able to follow HLD / DLD for the SDM Nodes as per the Customer solutions.

· Good working experience in Linux, VMWare, Dockers & Containers, OpenStack, OpenShift

· Hands-on experience on Linux, Docker, Kubernetes

· Knowledge of LDAP, SOAP, Diameter, HTTP, GSM SS7

· SDL Migration experience will be added advantage.

· Working experience on Nokia SDL,PGW,SDLA will be added advantage.
