Job description

  • Work in our Data & AI Center of Excellence (DACE) in close collaboration with a diverse team of 45 data scientists and AI engineers from various disciplines
  • Design and develop autonomous agent systems specifically tailored to the requirements of the insurance industry that independently analyze, plan and execute complex tasks - from architecture to production-ready deployment
  • Develop and implement scalable AI products for the German and international market - from multi-agent systems to RAG and LLM pipelines to computer vision solutions - to optimize existing products or create completely new AI-powered solutions
  • Research and test the latest AI processes, develop your own foundation models for the insurance industry and bring the most promising approaches into production - so that we as front runners will continue to be ahead of our competition in the future

Requirements

  • Qualification: Successfully completed studies in mathematics, (business) informatics, engineering, physics, data science and/or comparable training
  • Wealth of experience & know-how: Ideally 5 years of professional experience, in-depth knowledge of the application of AI engineering methods with tools such as Python. Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and especially in the field of generative AI, as well as experience in software development and data analysis as well as
  • Focus on Agentic AI: Demonstrable experience, especially in the development of agent systems, RAG systems and LLM pipelines - from conception to production-ready implementation
  • Personality & way of working: Initiative, way of working, analytical way of thinking and conceptual strength as well as the ability to present complex issues in an understandable way
  • Nice-to-have: Experience as a data scientist in the insurance industry
  • Language: Very good written and spoken English and Spanish skills, as well as ideally German language skills
