Job description

Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading technology company in the iGaming industry that is continuing to invest in its cloud infrastructure and engineering capabilities. As part of this growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to take ownership of their Azure environment, DevOps practices, and cloud platform reliability. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative business where you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving a secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud platform that supports engineering teams across multiple environments.   • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable Azure infrastructure across production, staging, and development environments.
  • Maintain and optimise cloud architecture for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Own Azure monitoring, logging, and platform observability.
  • Ensure security, governance, and compliance through Azure networking, RBAC, and identity management.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to improve platform reliability and resolve incidents.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, or Platform Engineering with a strong Azure focus.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking, security, and governance.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and communication skills.
