Job description

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you’ll be involved across the full software lifecycle-from requirements analysis and design to development, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. You’ll design resilient, scalable cloud solutions that thoughtfully balance cost, performance, availability, and security, ensuring systems are both powerful and dependable.

You’ll also have opportunities to influence technical direction by evaluating project needs, defining tasks and timelines, and producing high-quality designs. As a senior contributor, you’ll help mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering strong engineering practices across the team.

What You’ll Do: Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software solutions

  • Solve complex technical challenges with a focus on reliability and performance
  • Lead or contribute to architecture and design reviews
  • Support integration, testing, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Help shape project scope, schedules, and technical approaches

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on software development experience across the full lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering)
  • In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
  • Cloud Developer Certification (required) - one or more of the following
