Intermediate Software Engineer - Amersfoort

Requirements

Must have:

- This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2–3 days per week in the Cape Town office. - 4–5 years experience working as a software engineer - Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services - Experience working in an English speaking environment - Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills - Proficient knowledge of one or more: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, Go, Scala etc. - Knowledge of frontend Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue - Knowledge of CI/CD practices - Familiarity working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements - Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability - Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests - Data migration, transformation, and scripting
