Senior Developer & Financial Management System Specialist

E-AIM is seeking a Senior Developer / Financial Management System Specialist to support the operations, maintenance, enhancement, database support, user support, documentation, and reporting needs of a federal Financial Management System. This position requires strong experience with Microsoft-based application development, SQL Server, database management, user account support, reporting tools, and production system support.

The ideal candidate can support both technical development and functional system administration activities, including user training, data quality review, reporting support, and coordination with IT infrastructure teams., * Support development, maintenance, and enhancement of a financial management application.

• Manage application functionality, database updates, user support, and system documentation.
• Support relational database management, data model documentation, and database backups.
• Develop, update, and deploy approved system changes.
• Support user account management, access tracking, and user recordkeeping.
• Create and maintain user training materials and system documentation.
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external users.
• Support ad hoc reporting and financial data analysis.
• Conduct monthly data quality reviews and contribute to financial snapshot reporting.
• Coordinate with IT personnel on production server maintenance, SQL Server updates, SSL certificate renewal, domain accounts, and backup tasks.
• Troubleshoot application, database, reporting, and user support issues.

• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting software and database solutions.

• Experience with database administration or database support.

• Strong understanding of business analysis, change management, project management, prototyping, requirements management, data management, and relational database design.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal financial management systems.
• Experience with production application support and O&M.
• Experience with financial reporting, data quality reviews, or budget/spend plan reporting.
• Experience supporting applications with a large user base.
• Experience coordinating with federal IT/infrastructure teams.
• Experience with Section 508-compliant documentation and training materials., * Bachelor’s (Required)
