Job description

This is a remote access assignment. The Candidate will work remotely daily and will remotely access customer systems and therein use approved customer provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.

This role will lead architecture decisions across Salesforce platform services and integrations while supporting cloud modernization, DevSecOps practices, enterprise architecture initiatives, and the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within a complex federal healthcare environment. The position requires a strong blend of technical leadership, solution architecture expertise, stakeholder engagement, and federal IT experience., * Responsible for leading the architecture, design, governance, and implementation of Salesforce-based enterprise solutions supporting case management, CRM, workflow automation, and program operations.

  • Ensures delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant solutions aligned with HRSA enterprise architecture, cybersecurity standards, and business objectives.
  • Provides technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, including solution design, configuration and customization oversight, integrations, data migration, DevSecOps alignment, IAM integration, and environment management.
  • Develops architectural roadmaps, conducts proof-of-concept efforts, evaluates alternatives, mitigates technical risks, and ensures adherence to platform best practices and change management processes.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between business and technical stakeholders and oversees quality, performance optimization, and long-term sustainment of the Salesforce platform.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ overall IT experience with significant Salesforce architecture and implementation experience.
  • Expertise with: Salesforce Lightning Platform, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, Integration Patterns, Data Migration Strategies, Security and Sharing Models
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, and third-party systems.
  • Experience supporting Agile development teams and DevOps environments.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, data architecture, and cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies:

  • Experience supporting HHS, HRSA, or similar federal health agencies.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • Salesforce Application Architect Certification
  • Salesforce System Architect Certification
  • MuleSoft Certified Architect or Developer Certification
  • AWS or Microsoft Azure Certifications
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience supporting federal agencies, specifically health IT
  • Prior, successful experience working in a remote environment
