Systems / Network Engineer

CTS Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled client-facing Systems / Network Engineer to join our Remote & Onsite Services team. This role supports multiple clients in various industries, including some non-profit and education accounts, delivering project-based support in a fast-paced MSP environment. What You’ll Do:

• Administer and support Windows Server environments.
• Architect and install network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Implement and manage security protocols, update virus protection, maintain firewalls, and establish data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Support Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• Perform server, workstation, and application deployments.
• Manage operating system and application patching.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
• Troubleshoot escalated infrastructure and application issues.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts.
• Provide exceptional client-facing support across multiple customer environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 4-7 years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, and Proxmox.
• Experience working in an MSP environment supporting multiple clients preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, incident management, and the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
• Industry-recognized credentials such as Cisco’s CCNA or CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Juniper, and Microsoft certifications are a plus.
