Senior DevOps Engineer, TS/SCI Poly Cleared

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph to support a high-profile government mission. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration expertise, infrastructure automation experience, and a security-focused mindset. This role involves managing secure Linux environments, automating system provisioning, and supporting mission-critical infrastructure., * Administer and maintain secure Linux-based environments.

• Develop and maintain automation using Python and Ansible.
• Implement Linux security best practices, including SELinux and STIG compliance.
• Provision, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and system configuration.
• Troubleshoot system performance, security, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure.
• Support system upgrades, patch management, and configuration management activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Clearance

• Active TS/SCI with Current CI Polygraph (Required)

Pay: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Linux Administration, or Systems Engineering
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a secure, classified environment

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Experience with SELinux configuration, management, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of Linux security hardening and system provisioning
• Experience developing and maintaining automated configuration management solutions
• Familiarity with Linux shell scripting (Bash)

Desired Experience

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Linux system administration
• Linux scripting and automation
• Automated system configuration and deployment
• Linux security implementation and compliance
• Operating system provisioning and lifecycle management
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
• Familiarity with STIG implementation and compliance
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or OpenShift) is a plus
• Security+ or Linux-related certifications (RHCSA/RHCE, Linux+, etc.) are desirable
