IT Data Validation Specialist

We are Sharp Transit, an in-house carrier for Aldi - one of the nation’s largest grocery store chains. We have an openings for a Data Validation Specialist to join our growing team.

This role is responsible for the data validation and integrity of the enterprise data system. The ideal person for this role will be analytical, able to work independently, detail oriented, self-starter, able to multi-task and switch from one priority to another quickly and efficiently, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is an in-person position and will work M-F, 7am - 4pm., * Compile daily and weekly invoices and reports across multiple divisions and departments

• Cross-reference data in our system to verify accuracy of invoices and reports
• Resolve discrepancies by communicating with other departments and divisions and using multiple internal and external systems
• Meeting deadlines for invoice and report submissions
• Other duties as assigned
• Duties and responsibilites for this role may grow as we grow.

• 2-3 years of prior experience with data validation
• High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Bookkeeping, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 including Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience in trucking industry preferred but not required
• Have excellent written and verbal skills
