Job description

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Security Cooperation Analyst to provide Security Cooperation (SC) analysis support to the MARCENT Plans and Policy Directorate (G-5), managing SC planning, reporting, and Commander travel materials., * Organize, collate, and construct trip book materials supporting COMUSMARCENT travel using SC information systems and databases

  • Support SC planning through management of Combatant Command and Service-level tasks
  • Perform data entry for SC events and generate customized regional/sub-regional activity reports
  • Coordinate and manage the SC Lessons Learned Program, storing and categorizing SC After Action Reports (AARs)
  • Construct country budget projections using DoD per diem, travel, and lodging cost data
  • Serve as liaison between CENTCOM TSC and MARCENT SC
  • Generate Concept & Funding Requests (CFRs), Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) requests, and SC information system entries
  • Produce Quad Charts/products for weekly SVTCs and provide general administrative support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant security cooperation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with Security Cooperation information systems and databases
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Work is generally performed in a standard office environment at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida. Must be able to sit, stand, and use computer equipment for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
