Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will transform complex data into meaningful insights through intuitive dashboards, scalable data models, and impactful visualizations that help business leaders make informed decisions.

You will need to deliver high-quality analytics solutions, ensure data accuracy and reliability, and drive adoption of reporting tools that support operational excellence and business growth.

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Creating and optimizing scalable data models using best practices, including star and snowflake schema designs.
  • Developing advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs to support business reporting requirements.
  • Utilizing Power Query (M Language) for data cleansing, transformation, and preparation.
  • Integrating data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, files, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborating with business users and functional leaders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards.
  • Partnering with Data Engineering and IT teams to build robust data pipelines and reporting architectures.
  • Monitoring and optimizing dashboard performance to support large and complex datasets.
  • Implementing data governance, security controls, and access management in accordance with company standards.
  • Supporting report deployment, refresh scheduling, maintenance, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Providing business users with self-service reporting capabilities and improving accessibility to insights.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting solutions, data quality, and analytics processes.
  • Troubleshooting reporting issues and resolving data inconsistencies across multiple systems.
  • Delivering business-critical reports within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Promoting data-driven decision-making through impactful visual storytelling and analytics best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Power BI development and business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M Language).
  • Strong experience in data modeling, including star and snowflake schema design.
  • Excellent SQL skills with experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience integrating and managing data from multiple sources.
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline architectures.
  • Exposure to Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of dashboard performance optimization and large dataset management.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and user experience principles.
  • Experience implementing data governance, security, and report access controls.
