Job description

Seeking an experienced Software Developer 2 - PeopleSoft Developer to support a large federal power marketing organization within its Enterprise Applications Support team.

This is a 100% remote opportunity supporting enterprise Oracle PeopleSoft ERP applications. Candidates must reside in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana, as the official duty station will be their home address.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft 9.2 applications in a large enterprise production environment. This role focuses on designing, developing, maintaining, upgrading, and integrating Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial & Supply Chain Management (FSCM) solutions while partnering with business stakeholders to deliver scalable ERP solutions., * Design, develop, test, configure, and maintain Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 applications.

  • Develop custom portal pages, WorkCenters, Fluid pages, and user interfaces.
  • Design and develop custom web services utilizing WSDL, SOAP, and related technologies.
  • Develop workflow notifications, approval processes, and AWE workflow solutions.
  • Build solutions using Page & Field Configurator and Event Mapping.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and external applications.
  • Perform PeopleSoft application upgrades, PeopleTools upgrades, tax updates, and PUM image deployments using Change Assistant.
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, and production support issues.
  • Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and develop technical solutions.
  • Create technical, configuration, and knowledge transfer documentation.
  • Provide production support and participate in occasional on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a qualifying degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience without a qualifying degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing full PeopleSoft lifecycle upgrades.
  • Strong experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 application images released within the past three years.
  • Proficiency with PeopleTools 8.60 or later.
  • Minimum 3 years of PeopleCode development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years developing and supporting PeopleSoft integrations using web services or similar technologies.
  • Experience applying PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) image updates using selective adoption.
  • Experience with Change Assistant.
  • Strong coding, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, and developing prototypes.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise production environments.

Benefits & conditions

$85 - $90 an hour - Contract, Pay rate - $85.00 - $90.00 per hour Full-Time Contract (40 hours/week)
