Design Architect

• Develop designs within the design team together with the Project Architect to support the Studio Lead
• Perform work on all phases including concept design, design development and construction documents
• Project research and studies, especially regarding technical implementation, local building codes and standards
• Responsible for the design, functional and technical conception of the project
• Engage and integrate the Coop Himmelb(l)au working methods of digital and analog procedures into the design process
• On the basis of the working methods, prepare and develop drawings, specifications, graphics, working models, schemes and necessary documents related to the design
• Coordinate and communicate all aspects of architectural design within multi-disciplinary teams

• Professional degree in architecture
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international context
• Experience in design & planning geometrically complex, large-scale projects
• Work experience in all project phases is beneficial
• Strong conceptual and design qualities, functional and technical understanding
• Proficiency with analog and digital tools: Rhino, Grasshopper, Rhino Inside, CAD, Adobe Suite, ability to be open to further software applications
• Proactive, flexible and open work attitude
• Fluent in English and German (a plus) spoken and written, further languages advantageous

• High level of personal responsibility, perspective, and a great deal of creative freedom

Starting date of work: Immediately

For this full-time position (40 h/ week), a minimum salary of € 3.141,- gross per month applies according to the Austrian collective agreement; overpayment is possible depending on education, qualification and professional experience.
