As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining the software that powers an entire fleet of vehicles. You will establish the architecture for mission-critical real-time systems, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, and future-ready. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on daily operations while shaping the future of vehicle technology and innovation., Supporting critical systems for:
- Check-in and check-out
- Real-time passenger information
- Communication with operations control
- Data-driven maintenance
- Bringing structure to a continuously evolving technology landscape
- Designing architecture components and ensuring alignment across systems
- Providing direction for the technical strategy and future roadmap
- Ensuring solutions deliver tangible value in daily operations
- Maintaining long-term sustainability, scalability, and reliability, As a member of the Operations & Technology cluster, you will work alongside agile ICT teams and domain architects in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Within the GIVA team, you’ll partner with application specialists, a Test & Release Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, and another Solution Architect to deliver impactful solutions. Regular collaboration with Enterprise Architects and Information Managers ensures architectural consistency and supports the organization’s long-term technology strategy.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an ICT Architect in a complex operational or technical environment
- Strong background in software architecture, integration, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and application lifecycle management
- Experience working with architecture frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, and/or Novius
- Understanding of real-time, business-critical systems, including passenger information and operational platforms
- HBO or WO degree (or equivalent level of work and thinking), preferably in ICT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Dutch at B1-B2 level (spoken and written) is required for participation in internal meetings and daily collaboration.
- Comfortable professional communication in English is also essential, as it is the organization’s secondary working language. (The first interview will be conducted in English, followed by a Dutch-language conversation to confirm the required language proficiency.)
