Job description
We’re looking for top-notch engineers to join our global team. If you’re interested in being a part of our journey and helping us grow to become the leading provider of SoC platform solutions, we want to hear from you.
We need you to design, develop and help improve the upstream GNU Toolchain for TDK InvenSense DSP. These compilers are key for the performance of sensors, AI, and other performance critical software deployed on our IMU and beyond. In this role you will solve critical problems by working alongside an outstanding algorithm and platform team with vision in Compiler technology and systems software, doing what you enjoy! You will also be collaborating with the relevant upstream projects and improving the state of the art., · Work with a geographically distributed partner organization to develop, modify and improve DSP Compiler and SW Tools at TDK InvenSense.
· Contribute new features and optimization techniques targeting internal DSP, engaging with customers, upstream and open-source communities.
· Develop compiler SW that is optimized for performance and ease of use.
· GCC validation and certification.
· Profiling Tools, Debugging Tools, IDE Integration
· AI Driven Code Optimization Methods/Tools for TDK DSPs.
· Be part of a team that is at the center of innovation and AI technologies.
· python/Qt-based framework for creating tools and evaluation applications for testing and promoting company’s IMUs sensors
· Web Applications for Hosting Tools for Customers
Requirements
Architect and optimize upstream GNU Toolchains for TDK DSPs to drive high-performance AI and sensor integration. Deep GCC/LLVM expertise, C/Assembly mastery, open-source community contributions., · BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
· More than 12 years of experience with compiler development in a production environment.
· Knowledge of Front-Ends or Compiler optimization techniques and code generation modules or libraries.
· Strong hands-on C and multiple architecture assembly programming skills
· Knowledge of Compiler UIs integration such as Eclipse IDE.
· Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
· Experienced compiler engineer with deep knowledge of GCC and LLVM internals, comfortable optimizing for custom hardware targets. GCC certification and validation.
· Familiarity with CPU architecture such as Arm Architecture (AArch32, AArch64), RISC-V, x86_64, PowerPC or DSPs and engaging with pre-silicon compiler and toolchain contributions.
· A track record of working with industry standard compiler infrastructure such as GNU Toolchain and familiarity with ML toolchain technologies.
· Meaningful contributions to free software and open-source compiler communities.
· Strong background in documentation (ie. Doxgen or other compatible documentation strategies)
· Entrepreneurship mindset, directly bringing products to happy customers.
