Acting as a bridge between operational needs and technical execution, this role translates specifications into scalable, reliable solutions across internal systems. The Software Developer combines hands-on development with problem-solving expertise-building features, resolving production issues end-to-end, and ensuring high implementation quality. This position contributes to the ongoing modernization and operational efficiency of systems supporting packing, shipping, inventory, and related business functions.

What you’ll do

  • Build, deploy, and maintain features across internal web applications supporting operational processes.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve defects within existing applications to ensure system reliability.
  • Debug production issues end-to-end, from initial reporting through root-cause analysis to verified resolution.
  • Translate written specifications and business requirements into scalable, maintainable code solutions.
  • Develop, read, and optimize T-SQL queries within SQL Server using both ORM frameworks and raw database drivers.
  • Deploy and support web applications, including management of application hosting, relational databases, and object storage services.
  • Manage source code, testing, and release processes using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure implementation quality by validating deliverables, addressing code review feedback, and confirming solution reliability prior to release.
  • Communicate project status, technical challenges, and tradeoffs effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Perform other work-related duties and special projects assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; practical experience, technical training, or relevant certifications may be considered.
  • Coursework, certifications, or project experience in web development, software engineering, database development, cloud services, or AI-related technologies is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Node.js, TypeScript, React / Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Git & CI/CD, Microsoft Azure (Cloud Hosted).
  • Experience integrating Famous ERP with modern tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, or custom web/mobile applications.
  • Experience with ORM and migration tooling, modern authentication/SSO, monorepo tooling (e.g., pnpm workspaces, Turbo), and exposure to secondary or legacy relational databases.
  • Familiarity with image, PDF, or CSV processing pipelines (e.g., sharp, PapaParse), testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest in Next.js or Express environments, and libraries including TanStack Query, TanStack Table, Zod, and React Hook Form.

Physical Demands & Abilities
