Senior SAP Basis Administrator (SAP S/4HANA) - H1B Sponsorship Available

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Administrator with 10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in administering SAP landscapes, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver, system upgrades, performance tuning, transport management, and high-availability environments.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting enterprise SAP environments and mission-critical business applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain SAP environments across Development, QA, Pre-Production, and Production.
• Administer SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager, SAP PI/PO, SAP Fiori, and SAP Gateway.
• Perform SAP system installations, client copies, system refreshes, and landscape migrations.
• Execute SAP kernel upgrades, enhancement package upgrades, and support package implementations.
• Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and coordinate transport migrations.
• Monitor SAP environments using SAP Solution Manager, CCMS, EarlyWatch Reports, and monitoring tools.
• Administer SAP HANA databases, including backup, recovery, performance monitoring, and maintenance.
• Configure and support SAP Fiori Launchpad and SAP Gateway services.
• Perform SAP performance tuning across applications, databases, and operating systems.
• Configure and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
• Implement SAP security best practices including SSL, SNC, Single Sign-On (SSO), user administration, and audit compliance.
• Support SAP patching, kernel updates, and security vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot SAP production issues and ensure maximum system availability.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, networking, and application teams during implementations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call production support as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver Administration.
• Experience administering SAP HANA databases.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
• Experience performing SAP kernel upgrades and system refreshes.
• Experience with Software Update Manager (SUM) and Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM).
• Knowledge of Linux, UNIX, and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
