Job description
- Analyze and process large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Develop data pipelines and support ETL processes.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Work with Python to automate data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across Big Data environments.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Big Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL (mandatory).
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts and libraries is an advantage., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Big Data Analytics or Information Technology.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be willing to travel within the UK based on client and project requirements.
