Job description

  • Analyze and process large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
  • Develop data pipelines and support ETL processes.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
  • Work with Python to automate data processing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across Big Data environments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Big Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL (mandatory).
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or Kafka.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts and libraries is an advantage., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Big Data Analytics or Information Technology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be willing to travel within the UK based on client and project requirements.
