Java Application Developer

Responsible for end-to-end development of software products from requirement analysis to system study, designing, coding, unit testing, debugging, documentation, implementation, and maintenance. Play a pivotal role as a part of Agile Scrum team accountable for developing new microservices and deploying to AWS cloud. Use Agile (SCRUM) methodologies and Object-Oriented Application Design and Programming for developing applications. Handling Jenkins Build and deployments to different environments through CI/CD pipeline. Responsible for doing Peer code reviews for the team. Utilize a wide variety of programs and tools to deliver high quality and cost-effective applications. Ensure that end user issues are promptly addressed, documented and resolved in a timely manner. Seek out new technologies and ideas to add value to products.

Minimum Requirements: Degree in computer/engineering related. MS (3YRS) or BS (5YRS) of work experience in software development. Position requires experience in SDLC, develop & enhance JAVA/J2EE based Applications; develop & deploy new microservices and deploy to AWS cloud; perform QA testing on bugs reported; manage Jenkins build & deployment across multiple environments using Ci/CD pipelines; ability to conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality; ability to prepare technical documents. Technical skills in Frameworks/technologies (Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Docker, Kubernetes, Rest API, Microservices); Databases (Mongo, Oracle10g); Agile methodologies, cloud computing fundamentals & security.
