About the company
Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.
Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365-all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the worldâs top investors-including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock-and was named one of Americaâs best startup employers by Forbes., While youâll be working on one of Ripplingâs most used products already, Time Products is currently one of the companyâs highest priorities and is projected to grow 4-5x in daily active users in the next year. You will need to design systems and collaborate with the data infrastructure team to ensure our technical systems can scale with our business needs. Additionally, at the core of Time Off is an âaccrualsâ rules engine. We are looking for a product thinker to partner closely with our Product Management team to continue designing these systems to scale to all countries in the world and all legal jurisdictions.
We expect this Staff engineer to design the primitives of these systems and to make them auditable and explainable both in its architectural choices and through the use of LLMs in the product. These systems are critically important as they help users manage time away from work during the most important times of their lives. This team is at the heart of Ripplingâs future. As a Staff Engineer, youâll be a central figure in shaping the future of our products and how we scale our impact worldwide.
